Finasia Capital Participates in Tashkent International Investment Forum 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan – June 12, 2025 – The Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF) 2025 successfully concluded on June 12, bringing together over 90 companies and high-level delegates from around the world. Held from June 9–12 in Tashkent, the forum served as a major platform for promoting Uzbekistan’s investment potential, with sessions focused on sustainability, innovation, and public-private collaboration across key sectors such as renewable energy, technology, and finance.

This year’s forum featured a wide range of strategic agreements, including landmark partnerships in infrastructure, energy, and capital markets. Among the forum’s closing highlights was a special recognition presented to Mr. Odilbek Isakov, CEO of Finasia Capital.

Recognizing Financial Leadership in Uzbekistan’s Mining Sector

Mr. Odilbek Isakov, CEO of Finasia Capital, was awarded the III-degree “Konchilik Shuhrati” (Mining Glory) medal by Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company (NMMC) during the closing ceremony of TIIF 2025. This departmental honor is traditionally awarded to professionals who have made a lasting impact on Uzbekistan’s mining and metallurgy sectors through leadership, safety, mentorship, and industry service.

The award was presented in acknowledgment of Mr. Isakov’s strategic advisory support during NMMC’s successful Eurobond issuance efforts—including a $1 billion dual-tranche debut issuance in October 2024 and a $500 million follow-on offering in May 2025. These transactions attracted strong international investor demand and reinforced NMMC’s role as a pioneering issuer in Uzbekistan’s corporate finance landscape.

Finasia Capital remains committed to supporting state-owned enterprises and financial institutions in Uzbekistan as they pursue greater access to international financial markets.

A Symbol of Strategic Partnership

This award from NMMC reflects a broader transformation in Uzbekistan’s mining and industrial sectors, where global partnerships, transparency, and innovative financing are now cornerstones of progress.
